Volunteer with us,
and help make an impact...
The shelter receives up to 1,500 wildlife cases every year, ranging from animals found inside homes to individuals that have suffered electrocution from public power lines.
Each animal is treated according to its specific needs. Some require veterinary care and rehabilitation, while others simply need to be safely relocated back into suitable natural habitats.
Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us care for these animals.
We are located in Santa Ana, just 5 minutes from downtown San José.

All wildlife received at the shelter is intended to be released back into the wild as soon as they are ready. However, some animals are not able to return to their natural habitat because doing so would put their lives at risk.
For them, we provide the best possible care and spacious enclosures where they can live happily and healthily while becoming Educational Ambassadors through our guided tours.
“The strongest conservation tool is always to teach the next generations to respect wildlife and the balance of nature.”
